Throughout the journey, rub shoulders with history as it follow ancient trading routes used by aboriginal peoples. Crossing Yellowhead pass in the Rockies, you will be travelling through the inner plain of British Columbia and Bulkley Valley, like the first European explorers, who came here about 200 years ago, and reached the shores of the Pacific.
The Skeena departs three times a week from Jasper and Prince Rupert. The first days travel will bring you to Prince George where you can disembark for a night in hotel accommodation. "Skeena", on its journey between Jasper and Prince Rupert, British
Columbia's Gateway to the Pacific, Alaska and Fjord country. Its 725
mile journey takes you past Mount Robson, the highest peak in Canada,
across British Columbia's interior plateau en-route to the Skeena River
Valley, which it follows all the way to Prince Rupert and the coast.
